Luxury fashion has always featured the sons and daughters and even grandchildren of some of Hollywood’s greats, including Isabella Rossellini, Renee Hunter, and Emma Ferrer, to name a few. Recently two new additions joined the scene during Yves Saint Laurent’s midseason photo shoot. Seventeen-year-old Dylan Brosnan, son of Pierce Brosnan, and 19-year-old Jack Kilmer, son of Val Kilmer, were both featured by designer and photographer Hedi Slimane as part of Laurent’s “permanent collection.”
The Laurent collection consists of principal essentials, including Le Smoking Jacket, Classic Motorcycle Jacket in Black Leather, and Wingtip Collar Shirt. The line rejuvenates fundamentals with an updated style-sense reminiscent of Cary Grant and Marlon Brando. The entire collection can be seen here.
This is not the first time Kilmer has been featured by the line. In 2015, he walked the Spring/Summer runway for YSL in Paris. He also starred in the 2013 Gia Coppola film, “Palo Alto.” As for newcomer Brosnan, no word has been revealed as to whether or not we will see him in front of the camera again. But given the family history and inherited good looks of both, our guess is that we haven’t seen the last of either of these young men.
